Acupuncture as a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a system which works to restore balance in our bodies. It is not designed to treat disorders but restore balance and thus clearing our “symptoms”. This is a commitment as your body did not become out of balance in one hour, it most likely will not return to balance in one session. Understanding that Acupuncture is a process is vital. Our Acupuncturist is Licensed in the State of Indiana and board certified by the NCCAOM.
Most NON-EMERGENCY complaints are reduced or eliminated with acupuncture, massage, and associated holistic treatment techniques.
Initial and Follow Up Acupuncture sessions are $75 each.
In theory, the answer is YES! Acupuncture can address so many imbalances in our body and health. Of course it may not work for everyone for everything so it is a matter of giving it a good test.
Well, it does depend on several factors such as how long the imbalance has been present, how willing and able you are in taking an active role in your healing process, and how well and quickly your body, heart, mind, spirit respond to the intervention. A good test of if and how well acupuncture can help you balance your body is 3-6 treatments fairly close together.
This also is quite varied but most people find that having wellness acupuncture to maintain balance in their lives 4 times per year is helpful. When addressing imbalances it may be best to intervene weekly for a while and then monthly depending on your progress. Our practitioners will help assess your probably of success in treatment as well as help you decide what is right for you.
Almost every single person inquiring about Acupuncture asks this at some point. Well, your skin is being pierced by a tiny needle into points which often are found along nerve pathways in the body. The potential for the needle being uncomfortable is always present but we will adjust as needed. Most of the time, people coming in for very painful situations report that the needles are nothing compared to the pain they live with everyday.
Be brave! You'll thank yourself for it!
