Owner

Kris has a bachelor degree in psychology from Ball State University (1999).  She earned her certification in Massage Therapy from the Center for Vital Living in Ft. Wayne, IN (2001)  She completed her 600+ hour Clinical Aromatherapy certificate from West Coast Aromatherapy and is a current student of Traditional Chinese Medicine to become a Licensed Acupuncturist.  

Kris has the honor of leading the incredible team of practitioners and support staff.  She is joined by her husband Mike in life and in business and enjoys developing and producing the Soak Up The Light essential oil brand products.  

Traditional Chinese Medicine

Paul Enright  graduated from the Midwest Center for Oriental Medicine with a Masters Degree in Oriental Medicine in 1998.  His training involved Acupuncture and Chinese Herbs and included an internship in China. Paul is  a TCM acupuncturist and specializes in pain management, neurological disorders, women's health, sports medicine (did his master's thesis on acupuncture and sports medicine working with Olympic athletes), digestive disorders, stress and anxiety issues, smoking cessation and addictions. Paul also works with Oncology patients at Memorial hospital in South Bend, IN.

Advanced Massage Therapist

Taylor graduated from the Avalon School of Massage in Houston, TX in 2011.  He specializes in Sports Massage.

Cheryl graduated with a certificate in Massage therapy and Personal Training from Ivy Tech Community College. Beginning with the ROL team as a support staff in 2019, she was inspired to develop herself personally and professionally by attending massage school. Cheryl has always had a passion for holistic healthcare and helping others. She has loved watching the transformation of the clients and is excited to bring that passion for helping to the treatment room and even as a personal trainer. She feels at home at Ray of Light as the team is caring, encouraging, supportive, inspiring and knowledgeable.

Advanced Massage Therapist

Andrea graduated as a Massage Therapist with a certificate in 2016 from American College Massage School.  She worked for Ray of Light previously and took 2 years with her husband on a mission trip to Jamaica.  She returns with her husband and newborn and has rejoined the team at Ray of Light.

"I became a massage therapist because I know how great it feels to get a good massage and the amazing benefits of receiving massage a regular basis. I also enjoy helping others feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally! I am on my own journey of treating my body better and I would love to help others along the process. I look forward to learn more about massage in general, new techniques, and applying that to my daily practice. I made myself a commitment to always be learning and to do my absolute best in every massage. I can’t wait to get a chance to meet you!"

Andrea is currently (March 2023) on maternity leave and will return as soon as she is ready! 

Reiki Master

Whitney is an Elkhart native who enjoys helping others, art, and jewelry making.  After experiencing multiple traumas in her own life she was introduced to Reiki by a friend.  She took the first two years to use Reiki as a way to self heal from those traumas.  Now she feels called to share the wonderful healing energy of Reiki and support others in remembering the connection with themselves and the world around them.  The healing intentions of Ray of Light align with hers as a Reiki Practitioner.

Teri Dobson became “the other Terry” (sounds the same but spelled differently) of the desk support team in May, 2019; she has also been teaching yoga at Ray of Light since 2011. She brings over 50 years of experience in customer service and management from the retail fashion, interior design and banking worlds. Teri loves to research, learn and share mindful wellness practices and information, especially about the healing therapeutic benefits of the services and products offered at Ray of Light!

The "Original Terry" worked in accounting and customer service for a car dealership, mobile home frame company, corrugated box company, and a bank.  She is also the organist at her church.  Terry has been a long standing client and joined the team in August of 2015.  She loves helping with the blending of our oils and production of many of our Soak Up The Light Brand products.  Wanna learn how to fold a fitted sheet?  She's your gal.  And for literally ANYTHING else you need.  She's like the original Mary Poppins!

Cheryl has worked in customer service for over 26 years including food service and retail.  Since joining Ray of Light in May of 2019, her love and appreciation for all healing processes has a new horizon.  From all the services Ray of Light offers to the products we make, Cheryl is excited to be part of the support and is eager to continue to learn more and further assist the staff and clients however she can.  She loves spending time with family, practicing yoga, and learning new ways to help herself and others! 

Karen has been part of the team since the very beginning since she is Kris' sister!  She specializes as our bookkeeper extraordinaire as well as support staff at the desk.  Karen has an Associate's degree in Accounting Management from Michiana Business College.  She is a single mom of two young men and enjoys watching them grow and succeed in life.  She is a master puzzler of jig saw puzzles and enjoys spending time with friends and family.  "I love the staff and atmosphere here at Ray of Light and especially watching our clients experience the benefits of the services at ROL".
